The park, founded by Joe Raimondo, was dedicated Dec 1 1992, meaning this year on AIDS awareness day the park, will celebrate it's 15th anniversary. The park is located at the intersection of Prospect and Normal Streets. Much of the original financial support was donated by Carl Rosetti in the early years of its existence.
The ongoing maintenance of the park has been facilitated by members of the International Court System since the parks inception; with members of the Buffalo, Hamilton, London, Kentucky, Toronto, and St Catharines Courts all providing manpower and/or financial resources to help with park maintenance. For at least the last 5 years the Buffalo Bears have assisted in this endeavor as well, and this year the Bears have designated the park as their main charity. Although the Bears are not a fundraising organization, per se, they do fundraising in an ongoing effort to promote community outreach and assistance to local organizations and have contributed much needed financial support and manpower to the park.
Each year as a combined efforts between the Buffalo Bears and the ICOB,
